At Global Insider, pricing is host-driven, transparent, and standardized across the platform. This structure ensures fairness for hosts, clarity for guests, and consistency worldwide.
Who Sets the Price
All pricing is set by the host.
Hosts determine the price of their meals based on:
Ingredient costs
Preparation time
Local sourcing
The experience they are offering
Because hosts know their kitchens and costs best, Global Insider does not dictate meal prices.
Standard Revenue Split
While hosts set their prices, the revenue split is fixed and non-negotiable:
70% goes to the host
30% goes to the platform
This split applies to all hosts, all meals, and all countries.
It does not change.
Meal & Price Submission Process
Hosts submit meals and pricing through the Global Insider website.
To:
Add a new meal
Change an existing meal
Update a price point
Hosts must use the submission form available on the Host Page of the website.
All submissions are reviewed before being published.
Approval Timeline
Submissions and changes take up to 72 hours to be reviewed and approved
Once approved, updates are reflected on the website
Hosts receive a confirmation email sent to the same email address used during original platform signup
Until approval is complete, the existing meal and price remain active.
Pricing Transparency for Guests
To maintain full transparency:
Hosts cannot change prices when guests arrive
Hosts cannot negotiate pricing with guests
Hosts cannot modify meals or pricing outside the submission process
The price listed on the host’s dinner page is the final price guests pay until an approved update is live.
