Global Insider Experience (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a global marketplace that connects travelers with trusted local hosts who provide cultural dining and immersive experiences. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains rights and responsibilities regarding changes, cancellations, and refunds.
By booking through our platform, you agree to the terms below.
1. Traveler Cancellations
Authentic cultural experiences require advanced preparation. For this reason:

48 Hours or Less Refund
No-Show No Refund
Note: Platform service fees, currency conversion fees, and payment provider fees may be non-refundable.
If you arrive late and miss part or all of the experience, no refund will be issued.
2. Host Cancellations
If a host cancels due to an emergency or unplanned circumstances:
Travelers may choose:

A full refund
or -
A rescheduled date, subject to availability
Hosts with repeated cancellations may be suspended or removed. Please see our blog on this policy
3. Modifications to Bookings
Travelers may request time or group changes up to 72 hours before the experience, pending host approval.
Changes within 48 hours are not guaranteed and may not be refundable.
4. Emergency Exceptions
We may issue refunds case-by-case for:

Verified medical emergencies

Severe travel interruptions

Documented safety concerns
Documentation may be required for approval.
5. Payment, Currency & Fees
Refunds will be:

Returned to the original payment method

Issued in the same currency, when possible

Subject to exchange rate shifts beyond our control
Transaction processing fees may not be refunded.
6. Cultural Integrity & Experience Delivery
We do not issue refunds for dissatisfaction relating to:

Cultural differences
-
Food or style preferences
-
Personal expectations not aligned with the listing
Each experience reflects the authentic life and culture of the host.
7. Platform Role & Liability
Global Insider Experience:

Is not the provider of the hosted services
-
Acts only as a booking platform connecting travelers and hosts
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for personal injury, property loss, or damages during any experience

Maximum liability is limited to the experience cost paid
Jurisdiction for legal matters defaults to the location of the host, unless specific consumer protection laws override.
8. Policy Amendments
We may update this policy at any time.
The version applicable is the one in effect at the time of booking.
